The cord was a bit too long for my liking, but I'm sure other people find it useful. I took my pair to the gym today and was uncomfortable with the lack of grip these headphones have. I had to constantly readjust the headphones and was bothered by them the entire time.Otherwise, these seem to be a great pair of headphones. I was looking to replace my old Panasonic clip headphones that recently died on me. Also, the plug part is bent and re-inforced, which makes it sturdier and less prone to bending/breaking (that's how I ruined my last pair of headphones). I'm not an audiophile, so I can't say much about the sound (it sounds great to me)., but I can say that these headphones are not suitable for those with smaller ears. I decided to give these a try since they have pretty great reviews on Amazon. The hook is too large/long and if your ears aren't big enough, they'll start to slip, especially when you're running and working out.
They don't interfere with your activities, and don't bother me wearing them.I have noticed what appears to be wind noise, where the wind whistles between the earphones and my ears.Also, they take more effort to put on (with the earpiece) than some other earphones. These earphones work fine.
And as you can see from me having them for 5+ years, they are quite durable if given just a little care. I used to use these as my regular headphones until I got the Skullcandies so they are great for everyday too. It never gets into impossible knots and I have figured out that if you start untangling them as you turn on your mp3 player, the start up time usually equals the untangle time for me, or about so anyway.
It's true the plastic over the ear part is breakable but you just have to be a little careful. I have a pair of bass boosting Skullcandies [shameless plug] and yet I still turn to these guys for the comfort and quality for the gym or when it's raining. I bought a pair of these in my sophmore year of high school and I'm now about to be a senior in college.
The cord is supposed to be tangle-less or something like that but it is one of my most tangled cords pretty much all the time. I totally recommend these as everyday headphones [they won't block out all the noise but the sound quality is so good] or as an excellent gym pair. I think these fit marvelously on my ears and I got them because I thought they would fit well unlike the earbuds which always fall out of my ears.
The sound quality on these is fabulous for the price and the open style.
The sound is great (as expected from Sony. Love these headphones. I can't wear earbuds and the over-the-head headphones won't conveniently fit in my purse.
Regular ear buds tend to come out when I exercise, and I find them to be uncomfortable, making these a great alternative. I love these headphones. They're very comfortable, easy to put on, and they don't fall off while I'm running.
